Travel + Stay Weekend Timeline Polish Wedding 101 FAQ Registry RSVP

Travel Logistics

To keep things simple, the only thing we ask guests to arrange themselves is their flight to and from Łódź. Once you arrive, everything else will be organised and covered by us.

Accommodation

We will organise and cover hotel accommodation from Thursday 11 June to Sunday 14 June for all guests travelling from abroad. You do not need to book anything yourself.

We are currently finalising hotel arrangements and will share the exact hotel details and room allocations closer to the wedding once we confirm final guest numbers.

Getting to Poland

The easiest way to join the weekend is to fly to Łódź Airport (LCJ), which is the closest airport to where the celebrations will take place. The airport is located about 20 minutes from the Łódź city centre and our hotel.

We recommend the following flights as they align best with the organised transport and schedule of the weekend:

Outbound: Thursday 11 June — London to Łódź, Ryanair FR1844
Departs from London Stansted, 12:40. Arrives at Łódź, 15:50

Return: Sunday 14 June — Łódź to London, Ryanair FR1845
Departs from Łódź, 15:45. Arrives at London Stansted, 17:00.

Once you have booked your flight, please add the details when you RSVP so we can organise airport transport.

You’re welcome to join the transport we are organising for guests arriving on the recommended flight. Alternatively, you can easily get to the hotel we'll be staying at via Uber or Bolt, both of which work very well in Poland.

Arriving earlier / from elsewhere

If you’re planning to start your trip earlier, extend your stay, or can’t catch our recommended flight, there are several easy ways to reach Łódź.

Via Warsaw
The next closest airport to Łódź is in Warsaw. There are two airports — Warsaw Chopin Airport (WAW) and Warsaw Modlin Airport (WMI) — and either works fine.

If travelling by train from Warsaw, you’ll usually depart from Warszawa Centralna, the main station in the city centre, and arrive at Łódź Fabryczna. The journey typically takes around 1.5–2 hours.

By train
Poland has a good train network connecting all major cities. When travelling to Łódź, look for trains arriving at Łódź Fabryczna, the main station in the city centre.

  • The main operator is PKP Intercity.
  • Trains marked IC are usually faster intercity services.
  • TLK trains are slightly slower but run more frequently and are often cheaper.
  • Tickets can be booked on the official website: https://www.intercity.pl/en/

You don’t need to print anything — your ticket can simply be shown on your phone. We recommend booking 1st class, which is still very affordable and generally more comfortable, especially for longer journeys.

By bus
FlixBus operates between most major Polish cities and airports and can be a convenient alternative to trains.
